- All records must be kept on-site for at least seven years and available for inspection.
- Missed inspections or incomplete records can attract significant penalties — up to tens of thousands of dollars for corporations.
The new rules apply to all building types except single dwellings and aim to reduce fire risks, improve system reliability, and simplify compliance processes.
